This year, River Valley Cycle is offering a number of different winter bike training classes in our store to suit your knowledge AND your fitness needs.

Session 1: Week of Nov 8 to Week of Feb 8

Monday Performance Instructor- Kirk Hamilton 7-8:30PM Kirk, an elite level cyclist, will be leading our Monday night performance insideRide session. This session will be geared to cycling enthusiasts seeking to improve overall cycling performance. This session will focus on building base aerobic power, increasing strength and endurance and optimizing cycling efficiency. Be prepared for an intense workout!
Tuesday Fitness Instructor- Shannon Hein 7-8:30PM Shannon is an experienced cyclist and triathlete, as well as a certified Spin instructor. Shannon’s session will be geared to both new and experienced cyclists looking to improve overall fitness. This session will not only be a great workout but will provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about cycling training and technique.
Wednesday Dirt Girls Instructor - Kristy Jacklin 7-8:30PM Kristy is an experienced mountain bike racer and cycling coach. Several years ago Kristy started the Dirt Girls Mountain Bike Club to provide an environment for women cyclists that: Embraces progression & fosters confidence. Encourages consistent participation for maximum strength building. Provides members with knowledge through information sessions, workshops & clinics. Promotes community involvement and awareness in the sport of mountain biking. Kristy will be leading our Wednesday Dirt Girls InsideRIDE session. This session is intended for members of the Dirt Girls and other women who are new to cycling or who want to improve their cycling skills and cardiovascular fitness.
Saturday Endurance Instructor - rotating guests 9-10:30AM w/ coffee and muffins Saturday morning drop-in sessions will offer a longer, endurance training-based class to augment your training week. Stay and have coffee and muffins with the group afterwards and check out the newest stock
