PRODUCT REVIEWS: MADE - MTB DH Video and Camelbak Podium Bottle

“MADE” MTB DH VIDEO

NEWS LETTER SPECIAL $19.95 (reg. $34.95)

If you’re in to hard- charging DH action, then this video is a must- have for your collection. There hasn’t been a DH video with this caliber of racing and a fresh soundtrack since the Earthed video “the law of fives” ( another great film even if it’s a few seasons old).

“MADE” has great cinematography and funny behind- the- scenes footage with the Santa Cruz Syndicate riders. Viewers can also watch Steve Peat win the world championships after more than a decade of near misses and tragic mechanical mishaps that kept the DH legend from winning what he’ s deserved for years. You’ll also s ee Sam Hill struggle to get himself back on top of the world cup point s series after a slow start in the 2009 series.

Camelbak Podium Bottle
Camelbak Podium Bottle

NEWS LETTER SPECIAL $8.99 (reg. $11.95)

In my view a rider can never have enough water bottles, but if I had to choose just one bottle to own, it would be a Camelbak Podium B ottle. This bottle really covers all the bases when it comes to form and function. With 21oz of fluid ready for consumption and a lockable high flow “jet valve,” you can mix your electrolyte powder, fill it up with water and toss it in your gear bag without fear of your riding kit getting soaked before you hit the trail. The bottle is made from “true taste” polypropylene so you don’t get that nasty plastic water taste even when the waters been in the bottle for hours. The large opening makes it easy enough to clean thoroughly and put plenty of ice inside for hot days . Try one of these bottles and you’ll never go back to those crappy leaking “pop” valve bottles.
